18. Contact Sponsors

We’ve touched upon this idea already, but it deserves its own entry. If you’re doing anything that enhances your reputation in the world of gaming – whether that be on YouTube, Twitch, a podcast or elsewhere – in order to generate more revenue you will likely want to contact sponsors (in much the same way entities like television producers used to seek sponsors for programs).

In order to acquire sponsors, the first thing you need to do is prepare to impress them. Then, simply search for brands that you like, that might want to sponsor you.

The key thing to remember is that you’re not trying to sell them anything – you’re trying to convince them that you can bring value to them or their product.
