Clarkson University is a private research university with its main campus located in Potsdam, New York. It has additional graduate program and research facilities in the New York Capital Region and Beacon, New York, and was founded back in 1896 as a college of technology.

The university currently offers a decent number of online graduate degrees in the areas of business, engineering, technology and science – all of which are designed with working professionals in mind, with many offered as full-time or part-time options, with possible campus visits required.

Online students are given opportunities to take part in real-time virtual classroom activities like lectures, group discussions and self-directed assignments. The online courses at Clarkson are also available to non-degree students who might be looking to further their education in other ways.
