The University of Southern California is a private research university located in Los Angeles, California. Founded in 1880, it’s the oldest private research university in California.

USC Online has a huge array of graduate level degrees and certificate programs available for consideration – and they range from traditional programs related to psychology, engineering and teaching, to less commonly seen programs such as Geriatric Dentistry and Geospatial Leadership.

While a number of programs are offered completely online, others, such as teaching and social work, require field work – but that can be arranged near the student’s home base (and may also include self-paced coursework and face-to-face classroom time). There are also several online programs geared towards military students – including military social work, cyber security and a master’s degree in business for veterans.
